Durga Puja & Navratri - 2019

Navaratri festival is just around the corner and people all over the country and gearing up to celebrate this beautiful festival of music, dance and colours with fervour and enthusiasm.

However, the latest trend in the Navratri 2019 celebrations is to add an eco-friendly and cooler way of playing Garba and Dandiya, courtesy the popularisation of silent discos.

Various banquets in Mumbai are planning on turning to silent dandiya by using headphones for the Garba and dandiya session.

Not only will this genius idea help in reducing the noise pollution level, but banquets will also be able to organise dandiya and Garba nights past the time limit of 10 pm, in the absence of loudspeakers. Navratri Songs: Best Bollywood Dandiya And Garba Songs To Dance In Navratri 2019 Festival.

Rajmahal Banquets in Malad will be having a prolonged silent Dandiya from 11 pm to 2 am from September 29 to October 7, 2019.

Garba and dandiya have always been full of fun and energy and dancing with headphones will surely help to increase the excitement around this festival.

According to reports, headphones will be provided to all the dancers after the 10 pm deadline to allow avid dandiya and Garba fans to continue the festivity past the allotted time.

The headphones provided by the organisers will have options of Gujarati folk song, Bollywood numbers and fusion tracks to choose from. “Each headphone will have all these tracks which will be assigned a light of a different colour.

People or groups who want to play dandiya together can tune into the same track by identifying and coordinate the colour and come together for it,” Aboli Anand, director of Rajmahal Banquets told DNA.
